Oulu Table Hockey Association (OTHA) was formed in 1999 to promote table ice-hockey in the Oulu region. Our aim is to spread information about this great game and encourage new players to participate in table hockey tournaments. Playing table hockey is great fun!
During each season our association organizes a total of 10 local tournaments (with no entrance fee) which are arranged in Linnanmaa.
More maps of the Oulu region can be found here.
In addition to these local activities, we also arrange one national ranking tournament each year, which - together with six other national tournaments around Finland - is organized in co-operation with the Finnish Table Hockey Association (FTHA).

2. It is possible to use your own players, provided your opponent gives you the permission. Apart from painting, you are not allowed to modify the players in any way.
3. The duration of a game is 5 minutes. The clock keeps going when a goal is scored or the puck leaves the table.
4. Before a match is started, the puck is placed at center ice (both goal bags must be empty) and the game is started by an audible sound. All the other face-offs are dropped in the center circle. If your opponent has scored or caused the puck to go out of play, it is your task to drop the puck. Make sure your opponent is ready.
5. For a goal to count the puck must remain in the net. After the puck is dropped, a goal cannot be scored by the center unless the puck has touched another player first. After the face-off you are not allowed to score before 3 seconds have elapsed.
6. If a goal is scored during the signal of the end of a game, that goal will not count. If a player breaks while a goal is scored, the goal will count.
7. If the puck gets in a position in which it touches your goal line, you do not need to play the puck. You can call "freezing", after which you have a face-off at center ice. If your goalie scores an own goal before you say "freezing",(or "saarto" in Finnish), that goal will count.
8. The playing figure in possession of the puck has 5 seconds to pass or shoot the puck.
9. If a part of the game breaks during a match, timekeeping will stop. After the table is fixed, play will continue and the goals already scored will count.
10. If you score a goal with your defenseman by pressing the puck against either your own goal or your goalie's stick, that goal will not count.
